Somatic Sisterhood Circle
The Somatic Sisterhood Circle is a weekly touch point to attune to the wisdom of your body while being held in sisterhood. Each circle includes embodiment practices and meaningful conversations.
This eight week series will be focused on Soul-Level Embodiment.
Embodiment is a term that gets used often, but not many people can fully articulate what it means. For the concept of embodiment to make sense we must first acknowledge that there is a non material aspect of the self that isn’t necessarily always located in the body.
In times of deep distress, when the charge of shock, trauma, and painful emotions flood our body, we may energetically check out; our soul exits the body.
To be in our body requires coherence between all aspects of the self. When people are able to inhabit their body they feel calm, settled, and a deep sense of grounded wholeness. This soul-level embodiment has the power to transform every aspect of your life, but it takes time, energy and lots of integration. If this is something you’re ready to step into, the sisterhood is for you.
The practices in this circle will be focused on deepening embodiment through:
accessing our truth and authenticity from the body rather than the head
cultivating embodied boundaries
releasing relational patterns of enmeshment (codependency) and choosing sovereignty
creating deep internalized safety and self-trust
learning to stay anchored in the body even when things are hard
The Somatic Sisterhood Circle is facilitated by Marie Zak, Herbalist & Somatic Therapist.
Tuesdays from 6-8pm from January 6 - February 24
