The Plant Teachings Collective
A seven month immersive experience of plant teachings and embodied learning.
For most of human history, plants weren't viewed simply as medicine. They were teachers, allies, and living beings with whom people formed deep relationships.
Many of us long to feel more connected to the natural world, yet we've never been taught how. We learn about plants as ingredients or supplements rather than as living beings we can know, observe, and build relationship with.
This is why we created The Plant Teachings Collective.
By combining modern scientific exploration with traditional herbal systems and embodied experiences, we offer a layered approach that empowers you to deepen your relationship with plants while providing key knowledge about how to work with them.
Each month we'll journey deeply with one medicinal plant. Rather than rushing through dozens of herbs, you'll spend time observing and learning directly from each plant. Alongside these experiential practices, we'll explore its history, traditional uses, modern research, clinical applications, energetics, and symbolism.
The Plant Teachings Collective will give you the frameworks, language, and cosmology to relate to plants as teachers, supporting you to live on this Earth in a good way.
Whether you are brand new to herbalism or someone seeking to deepen your herbal understanding, this journey is for you.
Imagine after seven months…
Walking in nature and recognizing plant allies
Having an orientation to nature that honors the wisdom of the body, the plants, and all living things
Feeling confident making your own herbal preparations and ethically source your medicine
Feeling rooted in your body and the living world around you
By the end of this course you will be enchanted with the living world of plants; you’ll gain an embodied understanding of the magic and medicine that they offer, and how to work with them in your everyday life.

Why Only Six Herbs?
Many herbal programs teach dozens, even hundreds, of herbs. While breadth has value, we've found that depth creates lasting relationship and gives students the confidence to actually apply what they've learned. It also offers time and space to teach the foundations of herbalism, which can be widely applied to any medicinal plant once understood.
By spending an entire month with each plant, you'll remember it not because you memorized a chart, but because you've experienced it. You'll taste it, prepare it, observe it, and build a relationship over time.
Our hope isn't simply that you know more herbs. It's that you experience herbalism as a living practice that allows you to build meaningful relationships with any plant you encounter.

Student Testimonials
-
"Your complimentary, gentle, and nourishing ways, have reminded me that herbs don't do the work for us. They may point the way, like chamomile did for me and help us along if we let them. I really opened up and felt connected. So thank you for these gentle nudges in the right direction and deep learning."
-
"I love the format of the course (learning about the plant from direct experience; coming together at the end of the month to learn in depth)... I also love the opportunity to gathering with other plant enthusiasts and learn from clinical practitioners."
-
"The Teachers are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about herbalism. They have studied for many years and the dedication and love for the plants truly shines through. I am SO grateful for their teachings and guidance over the training."
