The Plant Teachings Collective

A seven month immersive experience of plant teachings and embodied learning.

Traditional peoples around the world view(ed) plants as wise teachers with whom we could form direct relationship.

As modern humans many of us are disconnected from the living world. We aren’t taught to relate to plants, fungi and animals as living beings and wisdom keepers.

Much of the herbalism taught today is viewed through a modern reductionistic lens, leaving behind the personal connection and soulful lessons that plants have to share.

This is why we created The Plant Teachings Collective.

By combining modern scientific exploration with traditional herbal systems and embodied experiences, we offer layered teachings that empower you to deepen your relationship with plants while providing key knowledge about how to work with them.

Throughout our seven months together, we will provide a container for you to form direct and meaningful relationships with a plant each month while exploring it from a historical, scientific, clinical, and esoteric lens.

The Plant Teachings Collective will give you the frameworks, language, and cosmology to relate to plants as teachers, supporting you to live on this Earth in a good way.

Whether you are brand new to herbalism or someone seeking to deepen your herbal understanding, this journey is for you.

By the end of this course you will be enchanted with the living world of plants; you’ll gain an embodied understanding of the magic and medicine that they offer, and how to work with them in your everyday life.

In Person Dates & Times

The in person classes will take place on Sundays from 1-4pm at Sante Health Centre in Nelson, BC.

All classes will be recorded and uploaded to the student portal within 48 hours.
