Boundaries for Empaths is a five week series that will take place over Zoom on Wednesdays from 12-1pm pst beginning May 28th. Can’t join live? No problem! The replays will be available within 24 hours to watch.

In this 5 week immersive course, we’ll explore:

  • What healthy boundaries actually are

  • Why your nervous system holds the key to setting boundaries that stick

  • The connection between people-pleasing, trauma responses, and porous energy

  • How to build safety in your nervous system so that you can express your needs and boundaries

  • Somatic practices to anchor your “yes” and “no” in the body

  • How to repair ruptured boundaries and reclaim your power

  • Boundaries as a return to belonging—not separation

Week 1 - Boundaries & Early Imprints 

We’ll define what boundaries are and explore how your early childhood experiences inform your experience of boundaries today. You’ll learn somatic tools for clarifying what “yes” and “no” feels like in your body, and what’s stopping you from expressing yourself.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

Week 2 - Creating Safety, Repairing Boundary Ruptures & Healing Enmeshment  

We’ll explore how to create safety in the nervous system in order to how to repair boundary ruptures and heal from co-dependant dynamics. You’ll learn a powerful somatic practice for differentiating yourself from other people and unhooking from enmeshment.


Week 3 - Parts Work For Boundaries 

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapeutic model that understands people as being made up of different “parts” or sub-personalities—like inner voices, feelings, or roles we take on. We’ll explore boundaries from an IFS lens; exploring the parts inside of you that are related to boundaries such as “the protector”, “the caregiver”, “the abandoned child”, and “the inner critic”.

Week 4 - Owning Your Shadow & Reclaiming Your Power 

The shadow refers to the parts of ourselves that we unconsciously repress, deny, or disown because they feel unacceptable, shameful, or too painful to face. We will explore any shadow that you may have internalized that is contributing to poor boundaries so that you can confidentially stand in your power.

Week 5 - Integration & Maintenance 

This final week is all about integrating everything we’ve learned, and learning the tools for maintaining healthy boundaries moving forward.

My story….

Growing up I had extremely low self worth. I was deeply attuned to the others around me, and felt it was my job to tend to their needs while negating my own.

But there came a point when my body began to speak louder than my conditioning. In my 20’s I hit a deep burnout and realized that I desperately needed to learn boundaries; this was a 180 from how I’d been raised, and the idea of upsetting or disappointing someone else felt unbearable.

It was through somatic therapy that I was able to heal my nervous system and rewire my relationship to boundaries. I started to speak up for myself, and stand in my power; overtime things shifted.

Some friendships and jobs fell away, others blossomed. My self-trust began to grow, and I found myself reclaiming my energy and making empowered choices.

Sometimes I still find boundaries hard, but the difference is that I now trust myself enough to know that even when it’s hard, I will always honor my truth and protect my energy.

  • If you are an deeply caring, empathetic person who struggles with healthy boundaries then this course is for you.

  • This course will be primarily focused on boundary repair from a somatic therapy lens.

    There will not be a focus on herbalism, though herbs may be mentioned briefly during the course.
